I've been thinking about getting a chair for the baby's room and have just stumbled across the http://www.trademe.co.nz/Baby-gear/Baby-room-furniture/Tables-chairs/auction-300768243.htm - Mocka Armchairs on TM.

So I'm wondering what people's opinions of them are. I've seen a couple of posts about their cots and their baby rockers but not about the adult armchairs.
I guess my main question is, is it comfy? - cos it looks pretty minimalist!

I personally don't have one but a good friend of mine does and she loves it! She only feeds in that chair now as its by far the comfiest even when she is home alone she goes in there to fed. Youc an get the little kids ones exactly the same too.

I have one in the nursery - I really love it and feels really comfy, but as bubs hasn't arrived yet can't comment on how it is as a BFing chair. I got the footstool as well in the cream colour, be aware that it does actually take up quite a bit of room if you get the stool as well. I think it is a really good buy for the price, just a little tricky to put together.

I have one of these with the footstool, very comfortable and you can rock it a little while burping etc which is nice. My only complaint would be that the arm rests are a LITTLE high so sometimes I have almost knocked my bubs head on them :-)

It was alright when I tried it out, weight limit = 110kgs. So wasn't ideal for dp.

I found them hard to get out of whilst holding baby so yeah wasn't what I wanted.

I have the similar one that is sold in Farmers. You could go there and try it out? I love it, we even bought another 2 for the lounge as they are so comfortable.

Thanks people - sounds like a trip to Farmers is in order. Maybe a nice way to spend the lunch hour one day this week

I have one of the Sally chairs from Farmers, it's really good and I got it in one of their frequent sales so it was only $100, but they're normally $199 - the Mocka one looks exactly the same though except different colour choices

Hi AliceM - I absolutely LOVE my cream Mocka chair. It's the best breastfeeding chair ever, so comfy, looks great, only $100 and delivery is free anywhere in the country. I would have got a footstool too if our nursery was bigger. I found the company great to deal with (have their highchair too).

Thanks everyone. The chair arrived this week and judging by the 3 furkids and DH hogging it, it seems to be a hit. Just not sure if it will actually make the move from the living room to the bedroom!

Ooops critical bit of info to miss out - I got the Mocka one. There was only black left in Farmers and we thought it was pretty likely it would attract cat hair like there was no tomorrow.
Although seeing how much of a hit it is now (covered it up with an old sheet), I think I just might have to get a throw for it anyway....

Haha, yeah we got a baby mocka one for Lily and the cats love it, but seeing as she's too small for it we just stack her little blankets on it so they can't get near it!
