Has anybody tried or going to try for a specific gender?

What methods did you try?

I have 2 gorgeous daughters and I'd love to have a son or 2 as well and for my daughters to have a brother.

I've been reading up on methods and the Shettles method sounds reasonable to do.

There's also this site that I've been looking at: www.in-gender.com.
There's methods which involve diets but there's a few foods in the 'boy' diet which I don't like so I won't be eating them plus it involves eating red meat twice a day which I don't wish to do as for one it would put the grocery bill up plus I really don't want to be stuck in the kitchen cooking two meals a day.
There are recommended drinks as well to change the pH levels as Y sperms seem to prefer a higher pH level, whereas X sperms don't.
I don't like lemon so lemon drink is out. I've never had V8 drink before so no idea what that tastes like, but knowing me I probably won't like it.
Making a Baking Soda or Cream of Tarter (or a combination of both) drink is easily done but I don't imagine it would taste very nice. Plus I'm not sure if it would affect breast milk and seeing as my 21 month old is still feeding from me twice a day I have to take that into consideration.

The site also mentions supplements you can take to help create an environment that Y sperm do well in but that is a lot of extra costs that I don't wish it get into.

Doing a douche an hour before BD is something I'm perhaps considering doing. Its seems easy enough to do and if it helps create the right pH levels then there can't be any harm in giving it a go.

So what other information did you read up upon.
I'm interested in hearing from others that are trying for a boy or those that did try for a boy and succeeded.

If you tried for a girl and and got a girl then I'd love to hear your story too.

I had never heard of swaying until I joined Fertility Friend (and got the VIP membership ) and in the message boards there is a whole thing on swaying, with the majority it seems, swaying for a girl , a few have already found out what they are having , and some have got what they swayed for some haven't ...the ones who did , seem to have mostly been on a special girls diet , had intercourse 3-4 days before ovulation and something to do with cranberry juice ? I forget what tho .
But if you join up with Fertility Friend and get the VIP , you would be able to see what I mean ...its quite fascinating .

That's interesting you mention cranberry juice, I am a huge cranberry juice junkie I guess you could say, pretty much the only juice I like, and I have a girl...

We got a boy, basically only BD'd bang on ovulation, no other time unless it was with protection. Took a while but it worked for us.

We have one boy after doing it right on ovualtion, this one was from doing it 3 days before and 3 days after ovulation so I will let you know in about 15kws or so if we have managed to get a girl . I wasn't following a girl diet as we weren't even TTC yet. Though I was going to start it at the end of the year.
