How do I know if I have thursh in my breast?

For the last few days my left breast has been quite painful when feeding, especially with the let down, almost like I have mastitis. I first thought it was a graze on the side of my nipple from Jacksons teeth but there are no obvious teeth marks or grazes.
It can be a bit painful when he latches and it hurst like all hell with let down It is also a bit sore after he has finished feeding for a bit. The pain is like a burning pain.

Any ideas? If it is thrush how do I treat it?

Apprently it feels like glass shards in your nipples when feeding.

I had something like you are explaining for a few days, felt like a graze but nothing there, it went away over a week i think.

If it is thrush then Jackson's mouth should have white stuff in it that looks like milk curds sort of thing. (they thought M had it as a NB but it was just thick milk on her tounge)

Anyway you can get Daktarin from the chemist for you and Nilstat oral drops for J.

It sounds like thrush, I had it but DS didn't get it in his mouth for some reason. I would ask them at the pharmacy for some cream, we were prescribed the generic version of Daktarin when I had it.

Yep sounds like thrush hun! Mine was like a intense stinging and hurt like hell when she latched! Also hurt a bit with the letdown.

I used the Daktarin in her mouth and micreme on my nipples, but I washed my nipple before feeding, the micreme cleared it up fast!
