I'm going to whip down & grab a new modem.

Well I've just been reading, guy at the shop's a dick...ethernet always flashes when passing info between computer & the WWW.
maybe I won't get one just yet, but our PPP light has been going out. I'm just not sure what is going on as a heap of time it's like my net stalls. Say I'm reading this page & I click back to go back to the main list & nothing happens so I have to close down the site & open it again. PITA! It could be either cable or modem really. Has it just started doing it?
A wireless capable modem is really handy, especially if you have a laptop. -------------
