Hi all 
I've seen the Quicksmart Travel Stroller is half price at Farmers  Has anyone used one?

good question! i was wondering the same thing...
They also have the jolly jumper stroller on sale and mums seem to like that one (especially tall mums). |

We have a quick smart stroller and I love it!
Brought it in Aussie thou. how much are they here? I use to take my phil&ted and check it in and use the stroller on the plane and at the airport but as I have 2 kids 21 months apart I needed a toddler seat. It has plastic wheels which aren't ideal for too much use. -------------

Hmm, won't tell Mum then as she paid alot more in Aussie.
At that price I would def get. It made the airport sooo much easier as had one in the sling and one in the buggy and DH had all the bags etc. No looking for the lost child
It would be great for using while on holiday in the UK as it folds in like 2 seconds so great for taxi's, trains etc. It does have a slight recline which was enough for our 6 month old to sleep comfortably with. -------------

Wahoooo went to get the stroller today
I think it's the old design ones which are half price as they didn't have any plain colours (like they do on the QuickSmart website) so I chose the least offensive of the two LOL I'm going to have a play with it when the boy goes for his nap
I do like the fact it has one handle though. Much easier for those times when you need to push/steer with one hand. Shame the recline isn't greater, but TBH for $149 I'm not going to grumble

Your baby will get bigger quickly anyway and will be able to sit in it soon, we took ours to America last year and it was great, it even fitted in an overhead locker , and its light and good for travelling, especially on buses and planes, so easy to fold up and carry. The wheels are a solid plastic and look a bit flimsy, but as they wear you can see how tough they really are. Just wondering how the stroller is? I am looking at getting one tomorrow as I will be travelling to and from cities later this year alot with DD 18 months.
I read the handles are quite low, how do you find them? and is the sunshade as useless as they say it is? |

They handle isn't low! At least I don't think it is and DH doesn't moan about it. I find it comfortable unlike most other umbrella strollers that I have to stoop to push.
I also didn't have any issues with the sunshade. It cover DS nicely when we used it in Aussie. It also comes with a rain cover but haven't used that yet as its purely our travel stroller. If you are travelling back and fwds are you going to be staying at the same place in ChCh cos if you are I would actually be more tempted to buy another sort of stroller and leave it in ChCh and then just carry etc in the airport. Just a thought. -------------

Yeah I will be living in both cities really (same house all the time in both places) and we have a P&T sport and I think I will travel with that if we are going to need it while we are in either place, but I will be travelling without DH 99% of the time so really want to have something that I can put DD in at the airport as she is not that keen on being carried now for long periods of time and LOVES to run away, plus I am wanting something smaller for shopping etc. Was going to get a cheap umbrella stroller but then kind of defeats the purpose when I cannot take it on the plane.
You guys have convinced me that its a great pram so I think I will definitely go get one today. Thanks. |

I just had a play with it because DS is too small for it just yet (bought for a trip at Christmas) but the handle is fine...not low at all (for most). I'm 5'8/9" in my shoes/boots and found it very easy to steer
Not sure about the sunshade but the rain cover looks pretty cool. I'm looking to get a foot muff/ snuggle bag for the seat though, as we'll be in Edinburgh for Christmas brrrrrrrrrr |

Just an update on this.....
We gave the Quicksmart a run for it's money last week and used it for our holiday in Fiji. It was FAB! So light and easy and had no trouble at all taking it on the flights as hand luggage. It fits easily into the overhead locker. Very pleased
