I have one last business trip to Sydney coming up before the baby arrives and was wondering if anyone would recommend any baby stores or even specific baby things that are easier/cheaper to get there?

Looking forward to a bit of baby-related retail therapy!

We were in Sydney late last year and I loved the Myer department store. They were having a sale on baby gear and we got some really cool stuff. I wish we had gotten more.

We also went to the Paddington and Bondi beach markets and got some unique things there.

Yay for shopping

We are off to Sydney this Friday and I can't WAIT to hit the shops. Mostly for maternity gear and underwear as I've cleared out the TWO shops in Singapore that sell clothes that fit me

I'm not sure how prices compare with NZ, but my sister was saying most places have sales on at the moment so there's some good bargains around. Toys R Us has good baby stuff in their baby section as well.

We just got back from Sydney yesterday and they are having MASSIVE sales on there at the moment!

By far the biggest mall is Bondi Junction - its about 9 stories high!

So easy to get there on the train, infact everywhere is easy to get to by train there!

If your staying in the city - get a 7 day anywhere pass, including to and from the aiport works out at $60 each and you can use the trains as much as you want plus that gets you to and from the aiport, you can go on the boats to Manly, Luna Park, Darling Harbour etc as well - awesome

Also a great store to look out for is Tradesecret. Look up their website & find out where they are. I got heaps of cheap Osh Kosh there.
