They showed you how to make on on 'better homes and gardens' a while back. Maybe check their website (it's a tv show which totally rocks BTW). We too want one!

Thanks Pekay - we really like the look of that one (its the only one we found with really good instructions too) but its not weather proof
soo maybe if we can find some others we can modify the one you saw to have a waterproof 'ingredient' in it
Its very cool though
Cheers
Jo

Yum we had homemade pizza tonight! My DH would absolutely love one too. Has been going on about it for so long. We saw Te Radar make one on his TV show but didn't really show you how you do it properly. I will have a look at that link. Thanks pekay

Probably not a lot of help but the guy who came to the camp ground we went to this summer had a van he had made a pizza oven in and he said the only thing he could find to make a decent stone base was a slab of granite. His pizzas were great and he said it was hard to find a stone that would cook them evenly etc. just thought I would post it incase ot helps you.

I know there was a good one in The Shed magazine, I had a look on their website and it was the Feb/Mar 08 edition which they say is sold out. DH has a subscription but it only started this year so he doesnt have that edition unfortunately.
Sorry this isnt much help!!!!!! But if you know anyone who gets that mag.............
Good luck!!

Yeah right rachndeans my FIL gets The Sed mag, I thought it had an issue this year on them. Anyway our IL have two pizza ovens (two seperate properties) and they are AWESOME!!!! Not only for cooking pizza (yum yum) and great for sitting round and keeping warm. FIL just made one over NY this year. From what I saw they are pretty easy. In that shed mag they used a swiss ball inside and built the top over it with fire bricks and concrete. Once the concrete was dry they let the swiss ball down. Have you had a google, I just had a quick look and there is heaps of ideas and plans.
