Does anyone have this as their home phone and broadband provider?

How do you find it?

We are thinking of swapping over from Telecom and gettig the free MYSky along with it plus double broadband.

Just would like other people experiences

what we are looking at is the ultimate pack - where you get 20 gb and your home phone for $100 per month (we pay that at telecom at the mo for 10 gb)

They were good when we were with them. Ended up changing to Telecom when we reconnected coz didn't need 20gb but did need free tollcalling. Would def recommend vodafone though. Never had any probs once it was all set up.

My mum has her landline and internet with Vodafone and they are CRAP! Around about once a month the landline will stop working, when I try and ring her it makes that 'no such number' beep and then when I text her she tries it from her end and has no dialtone The internet has stopped working I think 3 or 4 times in the last year and each time has been down for a few days at least... definitely would not recommend them!

We signed up with them when they had free broadband for a year, and haven't left. I haven't any complaints at all, and they're cheaper than telecom was.

we're at the same place FattyKat - 99% sure we want to swap over just wanted to get feed back on how people find it all.

we also want to keep our xtra email for about a month more - then we will know everything has changed over - think it costs about $5 but hubby is going to ring them and find out

We've been using Vodafone broadband for years (was previously ihug) and have had very few issues. We moved our home phone and tolls to them maybe 2 (?) years ago and our monthly bill in total is about $100 (we make very few toll calls though). We are also on the 20Gb plan.

She is in Auckland... we are both in Onehunga, it could be something to do with the service to this area.

We are with them. I love mysky. Our internet is a bit dodgy but I am not sure if that is across the board. I am used to highspeed in the USA so I think I am spoilt. We had a problem with our phone so I called them and they arranged for a telecom technician to come out and sort the problem. Apparently all the lines are telecom owned etc so I would expect the same product just different retailers if you get what I mean. Probably goes for internet too. Hope this helps.

We have been with them for about 3 years. We switched from Telecom when they were offering free net for a year too. We pay $90 a month for 5gb (I think). I wouldn't change back to Telecom in a hurry thats for sure.

We had Vodafone phone and broadband for about a year, it was a good price, but their customer service really leaves a lot to be desired. Changed to Woosh about a year ago, and haven't looked back

We have wireless broadband and phone line with vodaphone - we pay about $80 a month for 3 gig - its crap
We often loose our connection
Our first bill was $170 cause they stuffed it up, and they cant figure out why so we had to pay it and they will try and fix before the next one

We havent been here long so they had better sort it out or we will sack em - DH needs it for work

We are rural - north auckland

Agree with Booski re customer service or rather lack of! woosh are awesome but you need to be in a good area for them - seems quite sensitive - but once we were set up - awesome!

I had issues with Vodafone when we rented the internet kept dropping out but turns out that it was because the wiring in the phone jack was rusty. I find their tech desk awesome. They walk you through everything they had me try everything before they sent out a technician to avoid being charged for the service man.

At mum and dads the internet has dropped out a few times unsure why its just talking to the modem. The phone line here has stopped working as well, possibly because the wires are under the house and are frayed so therefore not working.

For this household we need the 20gb, we've only hit the 80% mark once which is good, but we regularly go well over 10gb.

I'll look at who we go with when we move next time depending on the area.

The customer service we recieved when signing up to the briadband and landline package was absolutely shocking. Ended up cancelling the broadband part of it.
The phone is alright, no problems so far.

We have the Ultimate pack (20G for $100) and have never had any problems. We don't make too many toll calls but have never had connection issues with the phone or the broadband.
And I've always had really good service from the helpdesk people too.
They were a bit slow when we were first setting up and were out of stock of the wireless modems at the time so they gave us a free other modem which we still have if need be some day.

We have the Ultimate pack too and have done for about a year now - They are about 100 x better than Telecom thus far!
I had no idea about the MySKY offer until yesterday! I signed up tonight and get new decoder tomorrow - Such a wicked deal!

I have never had any phone/net /service problems!

Well we are (we think!) finally signed up with vodafone... we almost told them to forget it as their help desk was pretty bad - we had trouble with the online form charging us a $99 connection fee which we were told there was none just the $49 mysky fee.

I certainly hope thats the only problems we have!

Yeah, their customer service is average at best, I think it's worse for their mobile services though. We have the Ultimate home and broadband package and MySky with them, and no complaints about any of the services so far. We've never gone over 20GB though, as far as I know, not even close.
