Hi all
Just wondering if anyone knows anyone who has done dairy farming in another country, thinking the USA/Canada or the UK...
Wondering what their experiences etc were...
DP is thinking after this season maybe we could go overseas and do a season or two and he's heard Canada is the way to go rather than the UK, initially he was keen on Ireland.
He's the kind of person who's got a 'she'll be right' personality but I like to know all the facts when considering things like this!
I wouldn't even know how you'd go about finding a job in another country
Would it be best to visit the country first? Considering we haven't been to any of the countries he's keen on.
TIA!

I don't really know much, but DH's parents are dairy farmers here, they are Dutch so might be able to help you out there. I also think DH has some uncles/aunties in Canada, so could ask some questions about that and get back to you. He might not know much though- he's never been to their place in Canada (IL's have I think, on their last trip to Europe. I'm not sure)
