Hi All

It's my MIL's birthday tomorrow and we had something planned to give her but have changed our minds so now need to think of something else.. but I don't know what!!

We are giving her one of the snapfish magic mugs with 'Happy Birthday Grandma' and pics of Liam on it - obviously from Liam. But I don't know what we should get her, she is quite hard to buy for - she loves books and cooking but already has loads of books and recipe books. Her new hobby is Liam lol, but with already giving her the mug I don't want to go too overboard in case she would like something different (I was thinking a Grandma brag book and printing some photos to put in it and leaving some for her to add) but it's kind of the same as the mug.. hmm.. shocker being so last minute. Any ideas?? I'll need to buy it tomorrow morning so any ideas before then would be fantastic!

Thanks

gift voucher - not very original but could be nice - maybe for a facial or pedicure something relaxing

Does she have the cookbook Seasons by Donna Hay, its a beautiful book with the most delicious recipes and gorgeous photos. For someone who loves books & cooking. A nice frame that she can put a photo of Liam in. I think the gift voucher idea is great too for a facial etc. as thats such a great way to be "forced" to take time out for yourself.

What about a voucher for a cooking type shop?

Thank you SO much for the ideas!! I ended up getting her the brag book, a gorgeous candle holder and some choccy as well as the mug from Liam.

I've made a note of the things you've mentioned for my Christmas pressies!!
