I bought the snazzipants special delivery pack and have started using them for our two week old boy - I remember reading not to wash the covers with anything with enzymes or natural oils (ecopowder) as that may affect the fabric. I thought that persil sensitive would be okay and have used this but after washing there is still a bit of a stain where poo got on the inside.
What do people use for this if not able to use napisan or the usual stain removers?
Our girl is still in disposables as too small yet for the prefolds. Also he is already wetting through the prefolds I was wondering why he was unsettled and just an hour after last changed had wet clothesas and bed so what do people use as a booster.

When I was using prefolds and a bit of poo got onto the cover I'd use a bit of sunlight soap and scrub then rinse then wash, The sun finished it off for me.
If he is wtting through are the prefolds soaked? If they aren't check the fit of the cover as you may have wicking happening.
Otherwise you could do a hemp or bamboo booster and just lay it ontop of the prefold.

I find sometimes the covers do take a second wash for the poo to come out. Are you using a snappi? Cuts down a bit on the poo leakage too.
As for the wee leaking - one of the problems with little boys is making sure their little unit isnt pointing sideways in the nappy - again a snappi can help but if the cover is a bit gappy around the legs chances are you might get the odd leak. Like Esmesmum said, check that the prefold is actually soaked.
