My DD 16 months sucks on her muslin blanket has done since she was about 6 months old.

I am sure its making her have an overbite and I am considering ditching the blanket but its her comfort and she loves it, and it really helps if she is upset too as well as a cuddle from Mummy. Plus I have just starting working for myself so she is with one of her Nanas on somedays and I would hate for her not to have her blankie. Note she only has 4 top teeth and 1 bottom tooth at the moment.

Has/does anyone's child have a blankie that they suck on and in turn noticed problems with their teeth. What did you do?

Should I just start saving now for her braces?

Hi Aimee, didn't want to read and run. Rhys still has his dummy (bad mummy, I know ), but it hasn't caused any problems and he has 12 teeth in total. I've read that having a dummy up to the age of 2 doesn't cause any problems, so I couldn't imagine Heidi's blankie would either.
