Kiwifruit is good but can be pretty effective so only try half to start with!

Is she drinking plenty of water?

Pumpkin is good for regulating either way. I give it to my dog if she's got the runs or if she's a bit bunged up and it works beautifully!!

You can put a teaspoon of brown sugar in some water and see if that helps .

Is gold kiwifruit different enough from green that she might be able to have that? It seems milder to me.
I gave DS some mashed gold kiwifruit with greek yoghurt, to my surprise made his poos very runny. (I should have known better)

(ETA clarity)

Avoid apples and pears as they have pectin in them and can really bung you up.

My DD is 16 months and had bad constipation, we were prescribed coloxyl drops and they worked. I also boiled some prunes up in some water then watered down the juice for DD and mixed the actual prunes in with her breakfast etc. and this really helped to. Plums are great as well!

thanks heidismum....i rushed her to the docs this afternoon as she was shaking and screaming trying to do a poo.....although she is going its not pleasant...and he gave her the drops and i gave her some tonight..hopefully she will sleep a little better if not tonight then tomorrow.

i also got her some prune juice but unfortantly my son keeps stealing it b4 i can get it into her and as she isnt use to juice its not really working.....she has only just started solids so getting more then 2 spoonfuls in her is the limit at the mo

When Floyd was constipated I rang healthline they told me pears were good, but not apples.  They suggested the canned ones in juice, not syrup, pureed up.  Also said avoid banana, potato, carrots, white bread, and iron fortified cereals (eg farex).

Floyd wouldnt go near prune juice (I dont blame him!!) in the end we got the drops too, they were a huge help
