TMI- this is gross...
DD (8months) has had really gross runny poos for 4 weeks now. They were 1-2 per day but for at least a week now we have been getting 3 large ones a day. Some are super runny, almost watery, mostly they are like thinkshake consistancy (sorry if you are drinking a shake right now). They are so gross, I even stopped using cloth 3 weeks ago.
The most likely reason I thought would be teething (she has had 5 teeth pop through in the last 2-3 weeks). But I am concerned this has been going on for too long. Should I be concerned it's been going on for about a month? OR is it normal? And she somethings really struggles to get them out, its like she is a little constipated (only last couple days I have noticed this).
She is pretty normal besides the poo problem. Her fluids are fine...about 650mls a day.

Not sure if it is possible in babies but with older people with chronic constipation "overflow " is common. I would take her to the Dr for a checkup and hopefully they will do a stool sample.
Has she been on antibiotics? My son always gets horrible runny mucousy poo for about a month after being on AB's. Someone suggested I try probiotics and he came right within 3 days. Great stuff. You can buy it from a health shop, not cheap though, about $30 a bottle.

My DD had this at 14 months, and it started on the plane on the way to Perth
Turns out it was because she had 4 molars coming through.
Every single poo was really runny and sometimes mucousy for about 10 days, and dr's advised us to avoid dairy and to buy her some electrolyte drink from the chemist.
Good luck!

I called healthline. They did say after a week you should go to a dr.....whooops.
She also suggested lots of starchy foods like stewed apples, banana, potato and farex. I also add water to each of her bottles as she doesnt have it on its own- apparently this is a big no-no.
She has only done one poop today and it was slightly more solid.
There is prob nothing a dr can do until she does another poo (other one is down toilet) as they will want to do a sample. So hopefully another will come before 5pm.

I didn't know that about teething and runny poos.
