Instead of threadjacking Leah'smummy's thread... It got me thinking... how old to play with fingerpaints?? I think DS might try and eat a lot now but at the same time I also think he'd have a ball.
I remember seeing photos a while ago (Daizy maybe???) of two girls painting, and the little one wasn't that old and it looked like heaps of fun. Anyone else remember or is my baby brain making things up now?
What kind of paints?? Just any non toxic??

I work in an under two's daycare centre and we do finger painting with the babies as soon as the can sit pretty much. We often do it sitting in the highchairs so its 'contained' so to speak!! We watch closely to make sure not to much goes in thier mouths but usually some does - leads to interesting coloured poos at times We use a variety of paints, all of which are non toxic.

I also work in an under 2's centre, we make our fingerpaint from cornflour and water, with food colouring ,so it is completly safe and non toxic, the kids love it, and if they eat some, it is really okay..
