DH and I have decided we really dont like our current 3 wheeler (too heavy, too wide) and are going to invest in a P&T instead. Another reason for a P&T is so when bubs #2 comes along we can simply add another seat. We went to a pram shop and looked at the classic, sport and dash. We both really like the Vibe but its a bit out of our price range (along with poor reviews) so its between the sport and dash.

These are our own opinions so far based on what we have seen and read:

Classic: Nice pram, light, easy to push and steer, easy to fold down. But handle doesnt adjust. Not an option, DH is taller than me.

Sport: As above but with adjustable handle. Would buy this over the classic for that reason.

Dash: Again as above and with adjustable handle bar and brake on handle bar. Nice styler look. Apart from that, we cant see why its $150 more than the sport??

Vibe: Expensive, looks good, Heavy to lift (I read its 17kg?? Correct me if Im wrong please), front wheel wobbles, straps are too short for older/bigger children.

So which one do you have and what do you like and dislike about it. Please be honest, we want to know were investing good money.

TIA

We have a Vibe .. if its 17 kgs .. man Im strong, because I don't notice its heavy but then again I dont lift it in and out of the car on a regular basis.

I think pretty much a pram is a pram, the Vibe was the prettiest (to us), so we bought it ..

Iif I recall you need two hands to put the brake on a dash on? I think thats why we didnt get it in the end as that seemed stupid if you have a toddler running away from you at the time and need to put the brake on so the baby doesnt roll away.

Rianna there is a huge thread on this in the I-do forum that will give you heaps of info.
We have the Love n Care Europa which is a Aussie copy of the Phil & teds sport. It's great & another option for you which is cheaper. We got all the accessories including the toddler seat free with it.

Sport, the only thing I don't like is the folding down but then I very rarely ever do it (i've done it once) which is probably why I don't like it lol

Thanks ladies. We currently have the Love N Care x-trail. Great for rough terrain but not good for pushing (heavy), folding up and down or shopping (wide).

Carrie is the Europa slim like the P&T and light? Will go and check I-do, thanks.

LF I have a feeling that that weight may be with the toddler seat on as well.

Good to know Stacey. I think we may end up going down the Sport route

Yes it is virtually a total copy of the Phil & Teds sport except it has a drawstring to lower the back of the pram which I like as its easy to do while bub is asleep. It also comes with a "enclosure" for when in newborn mode so the pram isn't open at the back.
I will send you a pic if I can find one. Think there is one on my facebook with Dan in it in Noosa.

Thanks Carrie, I saw on FB too. Our current LNC also has the draw string style seat adjuster too. Which we aren't major fans of but it is convenient when they fall asleep.

We have the Vibe. DH preferred the look of this one and will happily use it with DS. Its easy to use and fold up etc. Although DH does occassionally put the brake on by accident, but I haven't ever done it, I think he is just a bit clumsy

I definately don't notice it if it is 17kg, I can quite easily lift it in and out of the car.

Well I think your right LF and Hope2Be about the weight. And when we pushed it it definitely didnt feel that heavy!
I checked it out on the P&T web site and it says 10kg so was totally misinformed when I read 17kg.

WE've decided to get the sport and pick it up on the weekend. Cant wait
