Just wondering what people use to wash their baby with? Especially for those of you with sensitive skinned kids.
I've been washing DD just in water, but because she's such a spilly baby she was starting to smell like sour milk So now I sometimes wash her hair with Dove soap (it's one of the few products that is ok on my skin, but hers seems more sensitive than mine even) but I'd like to know what others use.

We use nothing, when we do its only johnsons baby shampoo. If her skin is really bad try the soothing naturals range of johnsons, that was always good when Daniel had excema as a little one.

We didnt use anything until he was about 8-9 months old (only in his hair when it was smelly, johnsons sensitive wash) and that was fine.
I am just about to run out of that and have bought ecostore wash and shampoo...

Mostly we just use water, but every few days I'll use the EcoStore wash - I also recommend it.

We've found that with the Johnsons stuff DS breaks out, also with most fragranced (sp.) wash. I have a fragrance free head to toe wash made by signature range which works great. At that age we used aqueous cream.

We use aqueous cream too. Amelia had a bit of eczema, so doctor gave us various potions. We just lather her in aqueous cream before putting her in water it works a treat!

We use Weleda too, its blimmen wonderful stuff!!! DS has slightly sensitive skin but every single other product we've tried makes it all dry and gives him patches of spotty roughness but never ever with the Weleda product. I personally would steer well clear of Johnsons products as they are full of chemicals, which some kidlets are okay with and other's seem to react to.
The Weleda Nappy Change Cream is also fantastic, a bit on the pricey side but works so well its worth every penny!

I have used ecostore shampoo - maybe once every week or two to wash her hair, but on her skin otherwise only use aqueous cream that we got from the doctor, but its only about $8 for a big tub from the pharmacy...its a bit gross as it doesn't lather all that well, but its soft and creamy ;-)

Ive been using mostly only water and when he has a bath with me, ive got QV bath oil in for my ecezma and i lather him in aqueous also. I found the johnsons stuff made his hormone rash really red and angry looking and now we dont use much hes looking heaps better.
I did however use mumtobe organics bath milk last night and it didnt seem to flair up but i cant bath him in that cos its stings my ecezma all over my hands

Both my kids have sensitive skin, and when they were very little I only put a drop of baby oil in the water and thats it.
Now we use Ecostore baby soap and SebaMed baby shampoo(from chemist)

Nothing, no soap and no shampoo. I like the smell of my baby as she is, no need for sented stuff for her or soap until she is running in the mud.

Weleda is really great, we use that most nights and so is the made4baby range (no nasty petrochemicals). You might want to be careful with soap as that can make skin pretty dry
