...that Clodagh is up to mischeif!!

All you second time Mums have probably figured this out lol but yesterday Clodagh was crawling around and I was on Ohbaby and only semi paying attention to her ...(I could see her out of the corner of my eye but wasn't 'actively' engaged)...and all of a sudden I realised it was AWFULLY quiet! Hmmmm I turned around and there she was, had opened the box of Xmas wrap, cards and packing straw and had pulled it all out in 10 seconds. And quietly!! lol

What does the Sound Of SIlence mean for you?

Trouble. Big trouble. Normally involving something she shouldn't be touching. I have found that the silence is there because she's thinking very hard about whatever she's trying to do.

That Jake has one (or both) or the cats bailed up in a corner trying in vain to catch them for a cuddle OR he has found a bug

ETA sometimes he is just sitting staring at a wall... I fear is wondering how to go through it

The sound of silence after I have just put DS down means a poo is being done - Do not disturb.

Trouble here too - pulling all the toilet paper off the roll, or reaching up onto the table and eating the baking (I didn't realise she could reach that far!), the flour container being pulled out of the pantry (oh, THAT was fun!), generally mischief!

in our house it means that the pantry is being emptied and all the crackers eaten, pulling out all the nappies or clothes from their drawers, or playing in our bedroom tipping my glass of water all over the carpet!!

In the case of their older brother it meant drawing all over the walls with his felt pens lol

There is something in the toilet that shouldn't be. Last week it was a whole packet of panty liners, not all together, he had put one in at a time.

Silence here can mean he has hold of one of the dogs toys, found my glass of water in the bedroom, managed to get a cd out of the case or eating a bug, or somehow managed to get into the bathroom or toilet, or got hold of a hollyhock flower that has fallen onto the deck or found the dogs biscuits.

Though sometimes it actually means he has ended up in his room and is quietly playing with his toys.

Oh yes, the sound of silence means many a things. It has meant tissue boxes having their contents emptied out all over the floor, dirt from indoor pot plants being dug out and our fave teddies going for a dirt bath, dvds being taken out of all their cases, my pads and tampons being emptied out of the bathroom cupboard and tipped all over the bathroom floor, my chapstick being eaten and smeared all over our clothes, same goes for the nappy balm....the list goes on.....

the sound of either silence or lots of giggling here means the boys are up to mischief! it could be a wide range of things too!

lol, with my oldest, giggles = mischeif!

But when he was little... silence follwed by sudden plastic bag rustling = This pricelss image!

Didnt even realise he'd figured out crawling yet!

The other memorable silence moment was him getting into the marmite not much later (you'd think I'd have learned by then but I had NO idea he could get into the pantry!) while wearing a brand new WHITE bodysuit! No pic sorry, my ex had the phone that day!

Hahahaha, that's a guilty "oops, I've been caught red handed" look
What's with the tampon and pad obsession???? Although it doesn't help that the latest tampons I bought are those U ones and they're all different colours.

Anyway, the latest 'sound of silence' meant Little Miss had taken each and every potato out of the pantry, bitten each one then rolled it away.

LOL these are GREAT! Silence this morning meant the nappy bag and all it's contents were emptied out in 0.13 of a second! Jeez lol

the sound of silence in this house means a couple of things.

If both kids are playing together, i can always count to 10 and then Cory is crying.

If Rhiannon is playing on her own and it goes silent then shes either playing in the bathroom or downstairs, and neither are good.

If Cory goes quiet its because hes into something (normally Rhiannons toys, or the dvds) or blessfully asleep
