At the moment we just soak in napisan. But if anyone else has a better idea ...

Napisan all the way.

I have a bucket of it on the go every day. I simply biff all the bibs etc in, let them soak and wash the lot as per usual at the end of the day. Works a treat on banana and Miss 3's random stains.

For really stubborn stains, leave the napisan mixture for about a week. I must try this with the banana but it does help with grease marks.

Prevention rather than cure:

Use the sillybillyz or mum2mum bibs. With the exception of the white one, which now just looks a little grey, NOTHING stains these.

I also find hanging the washing in bright sun definitely helps to fade stains.

Our sillybillyz bibs are stained lol, somethings just wont come out.
Especially if I chuck the bib in the washing basket and then forget to rinse it

Use sunlight soap on it as soon as it stained, comes right out. One of my coffee group girls suggested it and it works really well

Yep we use sunlight soap too, if that doesn't work try a spot of dishwashing liquid. I find it works on greasy type stains way better than anything else.

We use those plastic bibs with the trough at the bottom - love them - no stains, no smells, no laundry and catches all the bits that miss the mouth.

Try frend stain remover the dab on one...........im pretty sure my friends mum used that on a banana stain and got it out.........i used that on a really really old choc yoghurt stain (that i had tried napisan on many times)on a white top and it came out........so its a good item to have in the laundry either way

But doesnt it just stain!!!! words of advise for those out there dont let it get on the carpet, you will regret

Dynamo liquid is my friend!!! Sometimes you might need to soak twice but its amazing I have found it much more successful than Napisan. For the odd really hard to remove stains I have used Dishwashing Powder in a bucket soaking - but I always washout and leave soaking in a bucket of hot water and then wash.
