OK, so I said to Jax she can't have Erin till Friday as I dreamt that she was in labour and I text her to tell her I was pregnant and I really wanted the dream to be true and I wasn't due till Friday, so I thought what the heck, I still have free tests why not.

So now I am sitting in the lounge, and there is a test next to me, there is an ever so faint line. I keep thinking I am imagining it and I am almost haulicinating. Hubby isn't here so can't get his opinion. OMG

**Edited to add: I am also worried I left it too long and didn't check within the time frame...

oh and I called hubby to ask when he is coming home conversation went like this;

Me: When are you coming home
Him: Not sure Why
Me: nothing
Him: yes it is something, what
Me: Don't worry will see you when you get home
Him: No what is it
Me: Well I just did a pregnancy test (explaing above reason) and I think it is positive
Him: Oh, that is a bit weird (the fact that it is after my dream). Is weird that we have been trying and nothing and now...
Me: Yeah, will see you when you get home

in the instructions in most packs you will find that it says that any line whatsoever, however faint, in that part of the test - is a positive result - if you are not due for AF until friday then yes, it will be VERY faint.. almost as if you are thinking your eyes are playing tricks on you.

Anyway, unless you left for wayyyy tooo long over the time one would be inclined to think that it is a positive - how bout going to docs and asking for a blood test - they pick things up and you'll know as soon as... better than waiting too much longer - we all know how impatient Nikki gets

well, the test says to read a negative one after 5 minutes, and I would say it was definately within 10 min when I looked at if not 5, just don't want to get my hopes up I guess.

I will test again tomorrow morning for you ladies, and make a doctors appt for Friday. EEEKKKKK I can't believe I might be pregnant

well I had the worst nights sleep and hubbys snoring woke me so I just got up. Did the test and after 5 min I think I see a line, after 7 there is one definately, but still very, very faint. These are the tests the doctors use, (the card style one where you use a dropper to put the pee on it) so I am sure they are accurate.

As I am not due yet I am not getting my hopes up as I could have an early miscarriage but still...

Coolies!!!! Why don't you go and get one of those first response early result PT's, they are ment to show up before your AF is due (I used one when I wasn't sure about my positive...)

so I have done 4 tests now and they all seem to be positive. Very faint so still really nervous about the whole thing, however given that I have done 4 and they are all showing faint positives it makes it unlikely that they are false positives. Now I am really scared it is a chemical pregnancy.

So after all that blabber, I went to the doctor today. She didn't make me do another test but I have the form for a 6 week scan and am having HCG tests till I am 8 weeks as I am really paranoid.

I really want to get a ticker but just can't bring myself to do it, I am such a scardy cat

oh sarah that is sooo cool - ihavent been on for a few days and now we see we going to be march mummies together....YIPPPPEEEEEE!!!! Knew your chart was looking like mine....
Did u do a blood test for the doctor? They sucked like three huge vialls outta me yesterday....OUCHY!!!!
All the best.....sticky vibes and congrats on BFP!!!

Posted By: Sarah Beth
Date Posted: 14 July 2006 at 7:15am
yeah the blood test was yesterday, they only take the minimum of blood from me as I have very bad veins, and I had my prenatal bloods done earlier this year so didn't need to get those done.

I must admit I was pleased when I realised there was at least one other person that could join me in a March babies thread.

So I will say now, 1 undie checker reporting for duty, and some really great news, did my temp and it is the higest it has been for this chart so am hoping that means AF is well and truely not on her way
