not sure if there's a thread anywhere here with ideas, does anyone have ideas of what to get the midwife to say thank you?
maybe i'm still emotional 1 week after our son was born but i lie awake at night wondering how i can repay her for the amazing job she did with the delivery..
ideas i have so far are hand cream, and a voucher for somewhere.. (and of course a photo) but would love to hear other ideas, or from midwifes to see what they actually appreciate.

Midwifes probably get so many presents, I think that just a nice card or flowers would suffice.

Lizze I felt just like you after my daughter was born. My midwife was fantastic and I think that you do feel emotionally attached for a while. I wanted to get her something special but I just couldn't think of anything that would show how much we appreciated her bringing our precious girl into the world. I ended up getting her wine, chocolates and a Farmers voucher which is pretty unexciting but she appreciated it.

I tried to listen to the things my mw said that were non-baby related. She mentioned cafes quite a bit so I got her a sgle cup coffee plunger, a nice mug and some coffee, she seemed to really like it.

I got my m/w a nice wee set that had some cooking wine and different cooking sauces. Helped that her hubby is mum's friend so mum kind of told me that they were foodies.
