welcome firststork!!!!

I say sit back and enjoy the ride!

If you know your cycle I would say just make sure you have lots of sex LOL I would count back from the first day of your period 20 days and aim to have sex every second (at least) day for a 2 weeks. That should cover all bases.

Charting is really helpful, but if you have regular cycles I wouldnt be in a rush to start doing all that...

Perhaps when you get your IUD out ask for the prenatal blood tests (particularily to check your rubella immunity).

GL and hope its a short stay in the TTC threads!!!

EXCITING!!!!!

As Mel said, just lots of BD'ing (baby dancing), lol.  I would say if no luck after a bit and you want to do a bit more to help your chances, charting is great to pinpoint things like when you ovulate etc.  Your welcome to lurk in the charting thread and see what the deal is with that.  Good luck!

Hi there and welcome firststork...GL and I hope your journey is a short one When I first started TTC I knew my cycle (well I knew how long it was) but didn;t know when exactly I ov'd and how long my LP was so charting helped me with that...in fact I discovered my LP was too short....have now corrected that just by taking some more Vitamin B6......long way to tell you that charting can be helpful if things don't happen as soon as you would like......but in the meantime, I'm with Mel...enjoy the ride

We have waiting to ov and the Two week wait threads you can join in look forward to chatting with you

Thanks for the warm welcome - I got my IUD out on Thursday (I think just started ovulating) so its been an interesting weekend - guess I just have to wait and see - interesting though thinking could I be already? I dont think so but you just never know do you?

So I've had 2 periods since I got my IUD out (to be honest wasnt that worried for this cycle cause I dont really want to have a baby in December). BUT will make more of an 'effort' this time round - I dont mind if it takes 6 months or so BUT I hate the not knowing hehe so impatient!!!

afternoon all, just had period number 3 since IUD was removed - I really thought this month was going to be good news - I brought some ovulation test things from trade me, anyone tried them? how do they work etc?

Never tried the strips.

Sucks that AF keeps coming back, its amazing how we convince ourselves and notice every little twinge and funny feeling, and think that must be it, but its not.
Gah!

Good luck for lucky cycle no.4

Its a bit hard cause I dont really want to tell too many people at the moment as its very early days BUT need to really ask my friends who they had etc and make a good decision - I'll read through some reviews I think
