I just need to have a moan really, because just when I thought I knew my body it is really confusing me!

My cycles have always been 28 days exactly (weird I know lol). We started TTC #2 this cycle, plan was to BD every day from CD 10 and hope we got lucky Worked with C and we're happy to do that this time for a while before charting "properly."

Anyhoo, I'm now up to CD 31 with no AF and still getting BFNs    Which is peeing me off because at least if AF arrived I would be closer to OVing next time

I don't really have a question I guess, just needed to get that off my chest! I'm still hoping (a little bit) that I might get a BFP at some point but with C I got one the day before AF was due...

Argh!

(and apologies to anyone who has been trying for ages. I know this probably seems really lame, but I really am confused about what's going on.)

Aww hugs hun.

I can relate.... I was never nice and regular but 31-37 days never earlier never later.

First 3 cycles have been 40, 39, 40 so figured that was the norm. Alas, CD47 and no sign of ov or AF!

No point taking a test at this point as Prog test on CD38 was 0.5 LOL Definately no ov at that point....

Very annoying!

Can I join in?

I came off bcp 12 months ago and back into 28 day cycles, had a 35 day cycle in June and then regular 35 days on vitex until September when that cycle lasted 43 days.

Its now been 50 days since my last AF and no BFPs.

I could easily say I'm jealous of both of you cause you've already got beautiful babies but that would be unfair.

Annoyed and frustrated ahh just a bit.

Dang mrsg, that must be REALLY frustrating!!!

I feel bad for being so impatient about it all. But it's the not knowing that's the worst part for me at the moment.

As much as I hope you guys get your own answers soon, I do love this forum coz there's always someone who "gets it"

Aww Fleur....

I would get so annoyed with people like me when I was TTC.. "you already have one (or more) babies stop being so greedy" especially after the mc.

I dont mind if people feel that way about me.... I totally get it

I so hope you get our BFP really soon!!!!!!

(maybe TMI to follow)

OK so last night I was getting some brown spotting when I wiped, but nothing actually in my knickers. Wore a pad to bed thinking AF was on the way. This morning - NOTHING, not even when I wiped.

Weird weird weird.

That's what I had a last week, wiped and got pink, wore a liner all day and nothing this lasted for 3 days with a tensy bit of brown in cm on the last day.
Got a BFN yesterday so no clues as to what that was.

mrsg that sounds exactly like what I had yesterday. Hmmmm .... I haven't bothered testing today (down to my last one now!) and am going to go see my gynae next week if AF still hasn't arrived.

Mrsg that's a really normal feeling.

my best friend got pregnant after being off the pill for a week and BDing once...

When DH and I started trying I was acutely aware of the 'standard' that had been set and got a bit stressed out each month when AF arrived... She kept asking how my 'little project' was going and I felt like a failure.

I think the key was stopping stressing about it. easier said than done though!

kiwisj, I think no matter how long anyone has been trying, it is just as hard and frustrating to get that BFN.  I too am a fairly regular gal.  I have 29-31 day cycle, it has never varied from this except once.  Last year I had a random cycle that was 34 days.  Was so annoying as it really got my hopes up.

I hope it happens for you soon, hang in there

Thanks Bobsta.

Well, AF has arrived with a vengeance today so either that was a random long cycle or ....? Am thinking about charting this month so I can figure out when I'm ovulating, specially if my cycles aren't going to be so regular any more

On the bright side, DH and I have Date Night tonight so I can enjoy a wine or three and not feel too guilty about it

Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations!

Glad to hear AF arrived (in the sense that now you know what the go is).

Good luck for this cycle!

I'm off to my GP this afternoon to get some help and advice with TTC, I'm a little bit scared as to what he'll have to say.

I don't know if I want there to be something wrong that can be easily fixed, or to be nothing wrong and to keep trying.

I'm so over not being pregnant.

I even had a lovely temp rise this morning, wondering if the tiniest bit of pink I had on the 29th of Dec really was AF?  I hate uncertainty.
