I am bored and looking for inspiration if anyone would like to share their recipes for 6-7 month olds, especially if they include meat.
I have seen the Annabel karmel site but they all seem to have onions and butter etc in them

I just make mine up, but here are the current faves:
Roast dinner - 2 chicken drumsticks, chunks of carrot, kumara, potato and pumpkin, a bit of water in the bottom on roasting pan and roast for about 45min-1hr. Take meat of bones, and blend with veggies.
Beef casserole - sauté half an onion and 1 carrot in a bit of water, add bits of meat (I use schnitzel) and brown. Add 1 kumara, 1 potato and 1 courgette, enough water to cover and simmer for about 20 min. Put the whole lot in blender when cool and purée.
Lentil casserole - 2 carrots, 1 kumara, 2 small potatoes, 1/2 cup red lentils and enough water to cover, bring to boil and simmer for about 20 min. Add chopped silverbeet and cook until it just wilts. Purée.
I basically do variations on root vege/meat/green veg.
Oh, and rice pudding with fruit - 1/4 cup rice, 1 cup of water, 1-2 chopped pears, apples, whatever fruit you like. Bring to boil then simmer with lid on for about 20 min.
All these make enough to fill 2 ice cube trays.
Hope that helps!

have you looked into baby lead weaning? you can basically give them fruit, veg etc and let them feed themselves- saves all the hassle of pureeing everything!

I used mostly Annabel Karmel recipes for C. Just leave out the stuff you don't want? (like onions and butter) I think I used onions and garlic from about 7 months though - Callum loves the flavours and we add a lot to our cooking so I want him to be used to it You could use olive oil or marg instead of butter too.
