Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone knows where to get a quiet (preferably silent) thermometer for use during charting.

I am wanting to get myself organised to start charting next year but the thermometer we have makes loads of beeps i.e. one beep when you turn it on and then three beeps when the reading is ready. I know you have to take your BBT as soon as you wake up and I always wake up well before DH and it's gonna drive him nuts if I wake him up each morning I've tried burying my head under the pillow but it' still pretty loud...

Any suggestions??

Sorry, I don't know one, but if it helps, DH has started completely sleeping through mine, he didn't notice it at all after a while.

Thanks ladies,

I told DH he's just going to have to put up with the beeps - no doubt he'll sulk for a while but then get over it in typical man fashion!

My one doesnt make any noise....its not a BBT one but it works perfectly for charting....is a Safety 1st one..came as part of a first aid kit for children...I think from Babycity. I found though in order to get a proper reading I need to leave it in for at least 2 mins

My DH woke up and complained for the first couple of weeks, then he slept through it.
