hi everyone

Im pregnant with twins and i am wanting to know if anyone has any contact phone numbers for midwives that are experinced in multiples pregnancys. Im 26 weeks and i stay in blockhouse bay. I currently have a midwife but she is not experinced with multiple pregnancys and wish to find a midwife that is. 2 weeks ago i went into hospital with sharp pain in my lower ab and had bleeding and was told that they were signs of a miscarriage. Since then the bleeding has stoped and i no longer have sharp pains in my lower ab, and feel that because of the threatening miscarriage i should be seeing more othen instead of every 4 weeks. I have only seen a specilist once and that was 2 months ago and my midwife said i dont need to see the specilist until im 32 weeks. This is my first pregnancy and im not sure if the midwife i have should be doing more   or if im just stressing out about nothing. So if anyone can help with passing on phone numbers or advice it be highly appreciated.

Hi sorry can't help but didn't want to read and run. We used the birthcare team midwives they are fantastic! I only had one baby though.
All the best with your pregnancy!

I'm not sure about Auckland, but here in the Naki I wasn't able to be cared for by a MW, I had to be under specialist care. Are your twins fraternal or identical?? As this dictates the type of care received, scans etc.

Oh, and welcome to OhBaby Twins rock hehe

Hi
have posted to this question under pregnancy, and linked it in the 'twins triplets and more' thread.
Good Luck!
