My little one is 16 weeks now, and has pretty much always slept on his side in a sleep wedge (for a variety of reasons including reflux).

Now he has just started squirming out of it in the night and ending up on his back at the top of the cot. He's been waking himself up like this two or three times a night, but is good as gold and straight back to sleep when we pop him back in his wedge.

Tried a safety sleep on his back but he seems to like the snugliness of the wedge and we can't fit the wedge in the safety sleep.

Any ideas?

Can you prop him sideways and then wrap him in the safety sleep, putting the wedge behind him if necessary?

Exactly what I was going to say. Strap him in then put the wedge around him - our wedge velcro'ed together so could be seperated

Thanks for the advice. Tried this last night and it kinda worked! He still ended up on his abck when I went in to get him but at least he didn't go exploring his cot!
