I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good midwife in Dunedin?
Thanks :)

Debbie Harvey is really good. We had her for our first and we have her again for our second. Pm me if you want her number.

I used Albany Midwives (Elizabeth). It pays to start ringing around as the midwives do fill up.

This is the website for the midwifery registry on the NZ midwifery council:http://www.midwiferycouncil.org.nz/main/register/
You can search through every midwife in your area or NZ, see their qualifications and check they haven't ever been in trouble for misconduct and check they have an anual preactise cert.
This is the best place you can look as all NZ midwifes are on it.

Lisa Wang is absolutely fabulous (so much so that if I was preggy again I would seriously consider relocating to Dunedin to have baby)
She is such a lovely person and a wonderful midwife, I can not talk more highly of someone

TOTALLY!!!! she is very professional, intelligent and caring. She had the complete trust of my specialist too. She made me feel totally at ease after a very stressful pre labour (hence why I changed MWs) and because of her I can honestly say I enjoyed my labour so much more than my first...even though we ended with a c-section.
She is a highly competent little lady.
