Is it safe to use the internal Thrush creams in early pregnancy? Would the 1 day , 3 day or week treatments be better?

Yep, I've used the 3 day one a few times this pregnancy (as recommend by my pharmacist). I was told not to insert it too far up, but other than that its fine to use

I had it heaps during my first pregnancy and twice during this one and was always given the Canestan 6 day treatment.   I guess every Pharmacist is different but I am sure the cream insert ones are fine and the tablet ones aren't.

Thrush sucks!      Hope it goes away for you soon!

I had thrush when we were TTC and was told the same as Buttersmum - canesten cream was fine but not to use it internally.

BUT (TMI) I have it at the moment and was given the 3-day treatment by the pharmacist and when I read through the info inside it actually recommends using it at the end of pregnancy?!    No warnings about not using it when pregnant at all (this is the tablets with the applicator).

I'd just go with what your pharmacist recommends hun
