Hi,

I am looking for some meal inspiration, I feel like we are always offering DS the same sort of things which cannot be that great.

We are feeding what we have when we can, but we often stick to similar sort of meals, just habbit really.

We are also going through a don't feed me I can so do it myself phase, so he is eating a lot of pasta, which he shoves in his mouth but then not much else. Last night due to lack of anything I could think of he ended up with cheese on toast and slices of advocado.

Just interested in what you offer?

Roast is good. When I do roast (I only do roast vege cause I'm a vego and we cook some meat option) I just chop the vege up into nice little bite size pieces, its actually good cause they taste nicer and cook way faster and he tucks into that.

Fish n chips - homemade

Frittata, it can be chopped up into pieces they can hold and its easy as to make.

I used to make mini quiches for him, using small muffin tins then they were his size and made bigger ones for us. They can be yummy for everyone

We do meat, mac n cheese and side veges, he loves corn on the cob and did at around that age too

Leah has EVERYTHING we do if we have sauages with potatoes veges or steak chips and eggs or a mince pasta thing or butter chicken or wat ever, i just cut up to her size and just put it on her tray and she will just sit there and eat. We are all eating together now to, I just made our dinner anhr earier and her dinner an hr later so we all eat at 6pm, which works well.

Hi, sausages are a great hit in this house. I also do meat balls made with mince and sausage meat - can hid grated vegs like carrot/courgettes mixed together with tomato sauce, ham, roast beef or cornbeef, potato pom poms (doesn't like real potato), pumpkin, carrots, toasted sandwich (ham & cheese), corn fritters, small roasted vegs. I always for the week make up piklets and have in the freezer so she has them some nights when she won't each much of her main meal. We aren't having formula anymore as she won't have a bar of it so after her night shower and main meal she gets a yoghurt/custard with toast/piklet. Another idea was was thinking of doing was a little pizza should be easy to do on a piece of toast bread or a crumpet.

I like to make lots of little meals and freeze them and some of my boy's fav's are:
Bolognase pasta bake (i just make heaps, we eat the bolognase and i bake up about 7 meals for him from the rest using spiral pasta) Standalone dish - all the food groups in it.
Mini chicken pies - use leftover roast chicken and make pies in muffin tin. Make about 8 at a time. All the food groups in 1 dish.
Crumbed fish fillets - use fresh fish, egg and breadcrumb, pan fry and freeze on baking tray so they free flow.
Rissoles - he used to like these but not so popular the last few times i've bought them out.

You can see that i am lazy and like to have things that are one dish wonders with everything in them!
