One time when i went to get E at school he had been not walking and then limping on his leg....he was fine so didnt do anything and been fine since (4 months or so)

today he got up from his sleep and wouldnt walk (he didnt do anything to it at school but may have banged it on the way to bed he banged either his head or knee when he turned suddenly to see tv) and couldnt stand up in cot or for a few mins afterwards....

he also wouldnt stop crying and he never cries for more than a few mins so took him to doc who checked him for hernia and hip issues and temp and stuff..he said it could be something caused by a viral thing (like when he has a cold) which is fine ..but could be (if he gets temp) a bacterial thing which is way mroe serious...

any child presenting with limp and temp has to go to hospital to be monitored...I'm trying not to worry and i have to watch him and make sure he is ok by tomorrow and watch his temp doesn't get over 37.5.. anyone experienced this?

i see doc on thur for myself so will ask all extra questions then but just wondered if anyone has been through this? and Emz what happened that you knew something was wrong with Jack?

when he got up today took 3-5 mins ok walking and falling and then 30 mins to calm him down then he was fine till we got to doc and he started limping a little but ran out of doc surgery..
