When did you start introducing your little ones to painting and what kind of tools/brands for painting/drawing did you use?
I've noticed that my three months old girl loves watching me drawing something for her or when I put a pen in her hand and help her to draw herself. I was thinking of getting her Crayola Color Wonder Finger Paints when she is a bit older but after the reviews on Amazon I am not sure anymore. They say it's too messy and babies dig the paints rather than use them for painting. Any ideas?

I think my boy was about 9months old. I just put lots of paint drops over a page and he enjoys runnings his hand and feet through them. It is messy and he does eat some but I used cryola and I think its not too bad for them to eat.
I guess its personal preference.

If you have a bath ready, its heaps easier than trying to clean fingers etc.. and having them grab your hair/face with the other painted hand

I think I first painted with Maddi at about 6 months. Pretty simple really I just got big roll of paper lay it outside and then squirted blobs of paint over it. She literally swam in it, wasnt interested in the brush at all.
Made a huge mess but because she was just in a nappy it was easy to rinse her off in the shower.
Loads of Fun! Although it didn't last too long.
