I'm exclusively breastfeeding and I cut out dairy a few weeks ago which has helped heaps with Ryan's spewing and gassiness. However, lately he's been really gassy and I've decided to try going wheat free for a few days to see if that helps.
Did anyone else find that wheat made their bubs gassy?

Hiya
Not much help but I am Gluten/wheat free and dd was super spewy her first few weeks , and was gassy for ages too.
I did find breaking her off to burp every few minutes helped heaps.
Also citrus, chocolate, coffee and some colouring can upset bubs as well .

For us wheat was a big gas problem for Eimear. Before each BF I would have to rub her back/tummy to help her get out more 'firecracker' sounding farts.
This went away when I went gluten free and any time I indulged it would take 3 days for crying before she could get a poo out and get it out of her system.
But then again each bubs is different. Eimear was 5 weeks prem and DH is wheat intolerant also so lots of factors for us.
