Hi there, I am not sure if this is the correct place to start this thread but will try here. I am breastfeeding my 4 week old bub and have developed a nasty rash on my chin. I'm gathering its hormonal, it is quite dry and itchy and looks like I have shavers rash! I have tried different moisterisers and rose hip oil all which don't seem to help much. Has anyone else experienced this and have you found something that works?

mack gets it from dribbling and a few other babies in my antenatal group got it too. bepanthen worked for most of us and if it gets really bad we had one lady prescribed a cream for her girl to clear it up

Could be perioral dermatitus... I got it really bad in the first trimester and it came and up until Jake was about 3 months old.
I would not use anything scented on it, perhaps stick to aqueous cream and if its persitant see a GP (or better still dermatologist) and they can give you some antibiotics to get rid of it. (or steriod cream if its another form of dermatitis).

Hi there, I had exactly the same thing after having my DD. It went away after I (naughtily) popped them, and they didn't come back. (I am in no way advising you to pop them , I'm pretty sure they would have gone away by themselves). It is a hormone thing, all the hormones in your body are changing, just as they did when you get pregnant / go through puberty etc. Hang in there!
