Hubby and I have decided 4 is enough I know shock for those who know me well. Now what i need to know is can I just get on the list to get my tubes done if so how long is the wait. I was thinking an iud for a bit, but because this is a hard desion and I know the right one I don't want to have to put it off too long do I need to go to my gp and get it arranged or can my m/w arrange it. From what i understand its free for me and with money the way it is I don't think we will ever get a round to saving for DH to get his bits done. Oh and did you feel dif after oh so many question???

hiya we are goin through the same process, we are in tg so bop hospital system, my mw refered me did the points and everthing when I was pregnant with baby #5. 6 months after she was born I got a letter from hospital saying that Im off the list to go back to dr cause the wait was to long. Didnt even get to see them at the hospital. This pregnancy though (#6) have been seeing the hospital ob who is the head of the department, saw him 2 weeks ago and also discussed tubal, got my first appointment about it when this baby will be 5 weeks. I dunno ay I think it depends on who you see in some cases. All I know for sure is it goes on points, like children, age, period probs etc.

did you have a ceasar with any of your births?? cause you can opt for a ceasar and get it done then.
Thats our plan - if I have to have a ceasar then (and only then) will I get my tube tied - or else its Dh and the snip snip but we have medical insurance that cover the expense. Honestly if its free for a woman to get her tubes tied it should be equal rights for getting the male snip snip...IMO
