DS has some random virus which is really knocking him about, anyway we went to the Dr who gave us some anti-bi's
Yesterday for the first time in forever he had 3 naps, today so far we are on 4 and that doesn't count the mini snoozes on me and its not even 2pm.
Normally he has 1 or two sleeps a day at most.
He is pretty grizzly, very blocked up, sore ears and a nasty sounding cough, he is ok at night goes down well but wakes himself up all night with his blocked nose and cough, luckily he normally cries once or twice and then goes back to sleep, broken sleep for us all so I know that might make him a bit more tired, but I can't seem to keep him up more than an hour, its like having a newborn.

What do you mean by probiotics.
Ok thats a relief, yesterday he could barely stay away for an hour, it was odd.
He is so blocked up he can't really eat or drink, he did better in the night last night though, I gave him a sip or two of water and he went right back to sleep, so thats an all day/all night sleep - blimey.

they are the good bacteria the gut and immune system need. The anti biotics will wipe everything out, good and bad.
You get probiotics from the chemist or they are in yoghurt (but normally unless you make your own fresh yoghurt most have died before you eat it anyway) so better to get the capsules from the chemist.
Most probiotics need to be stored in the fridge.
We give our little one 1 cap per day to help her gut function and I was on antibios during labour that would have affected her. It has also really helped with her colic.
Most GPs will recommend probiotics for anyone on antiobios
