I didn't put them in the cot. I didn't like the thought of them getting stuck and having no where to fall. Daniel got a duvet once he was in a big bed

I think around 18 months we started giving Ella a cot duvet.

Our cot duvet says 1yr on the label and I think that is when I started using it. They aren't very big and can't tuck in well so I put ours sideways and it tuked in well and didn't move around

I don't think we started using one until DD1 was in a big bed either, so around the 18-20 month mark.

To tell the truth Cody has had one since day one. I just tuck the end of it under the mattress so that he can't pull it up over his face, I do the same with his sheet and blanket. And when the duvet isn't being used I just hang it over the end of his cot. We only use on really cold nights.

i started using a cot duvet for my kids at around 8ish month when it got colder (they were all born aug/sept) don't really think Tess wil be using one.
I think its a personal thing with using them under 1yrs-somepeople like to and some don't

Ive always used a Duvet for Caden, right from when he went into his cot. It was always tucked in tightly and he was in a safe t sleep so couldnt go anywhere.

Definitely a personal thing.

I used them with our children from when they went into a cot 4-6mths, but with our quilts, I bought the ones I wanted from babycity/factory whereever then sewed tabs onto both sides and bottom so I could tuck it right in under the mattress. (I didnt like that they didnt tuck in much without them)
