The past week I have been feeling very pg - tired, nauseous, getting up in the night to pee, mood swings etc but three seperate HPTs have been neg.
My question is surely if there was enough Hcg in my system to cause pg symptoms there would be enough to show on a HPT - so therefore I definitely must NOT be pregnant and 'symptoms' must be either imagined or caused by other factors?? Also, I think I'm late but have only had one period since DS was born and am a bit vague on the dates... |

from 7dpo i knew i was pg this time because i was exhausted and really struggled to stay awake in the afternoons. not the normal 'i have a baby, job and uni' type tired but the unbearably cant see strait tired. my pg test showed up 6 days later. there are other hormones at work not just HCG but that is the only one that pg test are set to detect so maybe give it another week and try again. if your really impatient then you could pay $35 ish to get a blood test at the local lab. it is possible to be feeling it before a test will show though -------------

I got preg symptoms and neg test with Jake for over a month before I finally registered a BFP! Quite common...
ETA over a month after missed AF! I was about 7-8 weeks preg lol stupid tests... -------------

with Ben I knew I was pg at about 3wks (so about 7dpo) but didn't test till 4wks and the line was only very faint. What would be your best guess at how far past ov you are? ------------- Lindsey

I have had a few bouts of preggy symptoms.. i think its my hormones sorting themselves out tbh. Always a BFN
It is possible though, I had preggy symptoms also from 7DPO with my little dude but didnt get a +ive hpt until 12DPO. -------------
