Hi

I feels so long since I've made my own baby food I can't remember if you cook nectarines before you puree them? Or can you just give them to your baby raw? My youngest son is 6 months (corrected).

Can't think of anything better to do on such an awful day (weather wise)

I would stew them first but I guess if they are really soft you wouldn't need to, you could just mash them.

I always cooked them before I pureed them.

I've got Annabel Karmel's book Superfoods for Babies and Toddlers.
She says to pour boiling water over them for 2 minutes, then peel (really easy once they are inthe water this long) then puree. That's what I do, and I think it retains the flavour better.
