Hi all,
I've just had an application through our Bundles of Love scheme for some prem/extra small baby clothes, we'd love to be able to help but unfortunately we don't have anything small enough in our supplies. Does anyone have any prem size clothing they are able to donate? We'd be very grateful, as would a teeny tiny little bub and her mum

I'm not sure whether Starship or wherever the NNU is situated up there does it, but our NNU has a massive box of recycled prem clothes that you can take home if you need them. My girls are still in prem clothes so I can't help unfortunately

| I have 4 little girl premmie outfits. I buy them when they go down to $2 at walmart for my daughters dollies. I will wash them and send them over. May take a week to get there from here. Almost brand new and the states has such great clothes. 2 of them are organic even. Obviously not important for the dollies but great for this tiny bub. |

an idea of weight would be good. I have a few bits of stuff that i buy from time to time to actually stick in the unit for babies we get that hgave families in the same situation. bought some th other day so if we can know the weight I'll send em off. ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

I got clothes to spare, I was just thinking of where I was gonna put all Angel's clothes  that didn't fit anymore, she hardly fit into any of her NB clothes when she was born anyways, being 10lbs !!! lol, so still heaps of clothes unused coz I went all out buying NB clothes before she came, so send me the address too please  -------------

I've just gone through the bag of stuff I was going to chuck on TM and theres a few T&T and JK prem clothes, mostly AIOs or tracksuits that I can drop off somewhere local if anyone is collecting? Most of it is either brand new with tags attached, or barely worn as she was 7lb born and didnt fit them for long. All girls/neutral stuff How prem is the baby? Mine was fitting them comfortably at 6-7lb, so would prob fit a baby 5lb upwards ------------- Brandon - 05/12/2003

Sorry guys, I didn't get online yesterday
Baby is around 6lb now if that helps, they have some bigger stuff that they've been given but don't have any stuff that fits and her DH is out of work so there isn't much $$$ spare. I'll PM you guys with the address. Also, we send out a bundle of love every week-two weeks so if we end up with too much for this baby, it will still go to good use

I have a busy week ahead with hospital tomorrow for myself and bailey then Bailey's having surgery on tuesday so Ill try to get them sent out at the end of the week also for anyone else interested I found out I have HEAPS of boys clothes that are size 000 and 00 (possibably 0 aswell) if someone needs some? finances are difficult so if you pay for postage I can send you a package too |

hi there, i am the one who emailed about clothing. my daughter was born two weeks ago at 6lb 12oz, we have drawers and drawers of NB stuff that i purchased when pregnant however none of it fits. i only really was looking for some body suits and some AIO's. We didnt budget for another round of clothes shopping however i have one or two things from trade me on its way, and some stuff i bought, which was listed as prem but really was like 0000 or 000 not 00000.
i think maybe this was made to sound like i was absolutely desperate for clothing, and i just wanted to say that we thought we were prepared but never imaged to have such a small baby. at least this way, the admin team will have a hige supply of clothing for the next person to touch base about needing assistance. and yes we are a one income household so unfort, i at this point in time have to make do on a very tight budget. so thanks to those who have kindly agreed to pass on a couple of things for us

most are blue I think but hey blue on a girl is better the pink on a boy IMO |

thanks, i came across this thread and just wanted it to be known that the situation was not as bad as it sounded, i wish i could just pop out and buy all new stuff, but that is not the case. im pretty much over buying from trade me as nearly everything ive recieved so far is still too big cos they arent 00000
