Hey All

Just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced a pulled or strained tummy muscle while pregnant?

I tried to sit myself up too fast and on a funny angle last week and appear to have pulled a muscle.

The lady who did my massage the other day is pretty certain thats what it is and also you can actually see the area on my tummy where the muscle has gone cause it sticks out a little bit.

Anyway my question is, has anyone else done this? What did you do to help the pain of it?

Eeek I did this a few times while trying to get out of bed, I found a heat pack on the area helped heaps, and panadol, also, some really gentle stretching.

Hope it gets better soon!

Will see if I can find a wheatpack to buy today when I head out. I'm just wary of putting too much heat on my tummy.

Try not to get out of bed too quick, I find I roll over. Also I would suggest a heat pac

I used heat on my tummy all the time, just dont have it too hot that all.

LOL, learnt that lesson now. It's not physically possible for me to get up too fast anymore due to the pangs of pain that scream through one side of my belly.
