YAY that's awesome

Good spotting skills Bobbie, I was just about to have a look on the hosp's website for any updates.

Excellent news!

OMG, that is by far the best news I have had all day
That was a big concern for me with DD not being able to come and visit her brother in hospital before he comes home

Even though I have ages to go it is still good to know! (of course if I have my way I hope I won't be there long!)

Oh no! I might be wrong.

They've taken it off the NSH main page and the maternity main page but apparently it's still on the site.

aww no bobbie. I managed to sneak DD in to see her cousin twice this week lol.

The mw that looked after my bro and partner said a 7week old isn't going to have the swine flu haha so walk in like your meant to be there and make no eye contact

yep Mum2Ben is a better sleuth than I. It's still sitting on the Waitemata DHB page - they just removed it off the NSH ones.

I have no idea now - sorry everyone if I got your hopes up.

Lol I think smuggling a 2 yo might be a bit harder. Plus my MW is very heavily in favour of the restrictions.

I talked my MW and she said there wont be any prob with my son coming into the hosp......in fact i am going to have someone sitting with him waiting for me to come out of surgery, he is gonna be one of the first to meet his sibling and i dont care that my legs wont be working after surgery i will scream the place down if they said otherwise!!!!

I had her in a pram though so its easier then you think. I thought that I was going to be stopped by someone as they were staring at me as 'i walked down the corridor but looked down at my phone like I was txtn and she moved by the time i got to where she was

Thanks to mum2ben's eagle eye I can bump this up again and say that the policy has been relaxed on the Waitemata page too now.

So I'm guessing the NSH site had just jumped the gun removing the info from their pages the other day.
