Just checked on NSH's website and the H1N1 restrictions are GONE!!!!!
Yay! my daughter can come and see me at the hospital. So very happy   -------------

yep Mum2Ben is a better sleuth than I. It's still sitting on the Waitemata DHB page - they just removed it off the NSH ones.
I have no idea now - sorry everyone if I got your hopes up.
Lol I think smuggling a 2 yo might be a bit harder. Plus my MW is very heavily in favour of the restrictions. -------------

I talked my MW and she said there wont be any prob with my son coming into the hosp......in fact i am going to have someone sitting with him waiting for me to come out of surgery, he is gonna be one of the first to meet his sibling and i dont care that my legs wont be working after surgery i will scream the place down if they said otherwise!!!!

I had her in a pram though so its easier then you think. Thanks to mum2ben's eagle eye I can bump this up again and say that the policy has been relaxed on the Waitemata page too now.
