Hey, i brought some OSFA pocket nappys and did a trial last night to see how they would hold there liquid. I put the insert in and poured some water into them, and it took ages to soak in and just poured out the sides. Is this normal for the microfiber or whatever that soft stuff is on the outside? Im a nappy virgin so not quite sure what to expect

Well to be honest it's might not give you an accurate indication if you haven't washed them to start with. Also depends on the rate you were pouring and how much liquid you used.

You also gotta remember that the nappy will be against bubs skin so there will be pressure there. We use inserts to clean up spills and they really do soak it up

Yeah, that's normal if it's a brand new, never been cleaned/used before nappy. Also if you were using cold water. Warm water soaks through lots faster, like wees :) They get much better at wicking the moisture away after a few wears and washes.
