Hey This is all new to me,
Ben and I get married in 3 months and we plan to start TTC after the wedding. I have been wanting to start TTC for quite a while but my partner wasnt ready also i do need to fit my wedding dress in December. I have always had problems with abdominal pain and the docs hope after a birth it might sort itself out. But first gotta get IUD removed and let my body sort it self out. Im keen on any advice and help |

There is a great waiting to TTC thread, with some great ladies all waiting, chatting with them is a great way to pass the time! I dont know much about the IUD.. might be best to have a chat with your Dr, and also if you talk to them about you going to TTC, they can test your immunity for rubella and such and with 3 months till you do start TTC it is the perfect time for the Rubella booster if you do need it... Good luck, I hope your stay is short once you do start TTC! -------------

Hi and welcome. If I knew a year ago what I know now I'd give up on contraception earlier because it may take longer than you think! (Hopefully not tho!)

Hi Kelz! Yes, join us on the waiting to TTc thread (I don't belong there anymore as we're TTC now, but never left  )
I second Pixie - if I could change anything, I'd have gone off birth control earlier, and just used other methods like condoms and such till we were ready to try. Just a thought to keep in mind - that might not work for you. -------------

Hey Thanks For the warm welcome,
Went to my doctor the other day and got my blood test done to check for rubella immunity so find out soon, yea i want to take the IUD out but every time i try talk to my partner about it he always says to wait. i think he is a bit scared |
