don't mean to be a spoil sport but you said in your other post it was after time limit so definitely do another test cos Ive been horribly disappointed with nasty evaps and as Oxy said before it's like purpledragon's one last week.... If it was in time it's a different story ... ------------- mum to 3 lovely girls :D |

Thats The same test i used when I found out i was preg with DD, and it looked very similar, slightly darker and i was late for AF, if that makes sense, maybe retest in a few days to make sure.

I had lines like that AFTER the time it says not to listen to them 2 days in a row, then a proper BFP on a discovery (or 2 or 3) the day after that. If it isn't within that timeframe then I wouldn't listen to the results. -------------

For some crazy reason I tested at 6dpo and as soon as the wee went across it and I saw no 2ndd line appear, I put it in my cupboard to look at later. 2hrs later I checked it before I took my daughter to kindy and this is what I have found. Rushed off to get blood test done and it came back at 2. Did HPT every day after BFN. In saying this, I have everything crossed that yours is a real BFP, but I am really beginning to hate MDS quickcards. I have had evaps before and they either look indented or dark, but not pink. This HPT has really put me off. I even started to wonder if someone in the factory put a OPK test in the packet by mistake, but I guess I will never know. I would either ring them or write to them and complain, its the only way they will change the tests so they give an accurate result.

they're rapid assay tests so need to be checked at time and thrown away (I know who really does it though!?) otherwise you do run the risk of false results... don't think complaining will change that unfortunately... so disappointing when it happens though  ------------- mum to 3 lovely girls :D |

Hmmm thinking back the test I did at Christmas time it was one of these tests too - so many I got a false positive too! ------------- TTC 6 years IVF it is IVF/ICSI round one 10 eggs, 8 mature, 3 fertilised BFN IVF/ICSI #2 = 22 eggs! 20 mature, 15 fertilised, 1 fresh transfer and 2 frosties BFN 2 Frosties still in freezer thank god |

I have never seen an evap line before & it does look like a faint pos. Think I will stay away from these tests, but also early test as it is not worth it. Good luck for this cycle. |
