Hi Everyone,
Just wondering how early everyone's braxton hicks started (if any)? I think it has started for me but feel that they are too early to start. I have yet to have my first appointment with my midwife so am just curious. This is my second child, braxton hicks didn't start with my first one until I was about 20 weeks. Any comments would be much appreciated. |

I have been wondering the same thing - my BH started a lot earlier this time, well before 20 weeks (last time I really didn't notice) but I have started having several a day now and sometimes they are uncomfy as - enough to make me catch my breath.
I was assuming it was because it was my second baby. Be interested to hear what others say. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I noticed BH much earlier second time around, from memory it was around 12 weeks. ------------- DS 8 DD 6 DS 4 DD 2 |

I had loads and loads from very early with my first child.
This time around I had essentially none until 36 weeks and now I'm getting them every 5 mins! It totally varies. ------------- Mummy to Gabrielle and Ashley |

Mine started at 20 weeks. I didnt know it was BH until I read my book that explained it. I though it was bubs bum or back moving lol ------------- Our Angel July 08  Gone but not forgotten
And to complete our family, our princess has arrived
