Have you done the strand of hair & the ring test? can also be done with cotton & needle.
It is ment to show how many kids you will have & if they will be boy / girl in the right order. A bit of a laugh. You thread the hair through your ring hold it over your wrist it will swing & stop after each one, side to side for a boy & a circle for a girl. mine was: Boy- DS1 Girl- m/c (will never know) Boy- DS2 Boy- DS3 Girl- FX |

Mine was:
Boy - correct Boy - correct Girl - will have to wait and see My coffee group did this recently with our 2nd pregnancies and all ring predictions were correct! We even had someone else hold the ring and it came out the same! ------------- Lindsey

i am always sceptical about this.. :) I have had four pregnancies so might take a while..:)
i did it 2 x first time got all boys (4) then i got girl, boy boy girl.. my friend did this on me before Ethan and only got one boy.. but then i had a mc as well so yeah everytime has been different:) held it over my tummy said girl:) ------------- Mum to two amazing boys! |

jem, it should stop or slow down when at end or changing.
I have had 2 friends do it & both correct, not as good as a scan, lol  but fun anyway

Mine said girl then boy... do you recon it includes MC? Cos then I only have one left!! And I really would like a girl in htere somewhere.... I waited for like 3 mins after incase it was going to go again, but nope! -------------

Emmi, mine have changed over the years & only showed two for awhile, but now it shows 5, so I may get that little pink thing after all, & bet you have a whole tribe, lol

Haha I dont want a tribe! Just two, unless I have two of the same then maybe 3, which I hope the last one is different otherwise who knows where I will stop? Im stubborn! and when I get something in my head I go all out! -------------

me too, thats why we decided to have #3 as the first 2 were boys, then when #3 was a boy we decided to give it 1 more go and then thats IT, ha ha

For girls it swing around & around & for boys it is up & down. I did it yesterday & it showed a girl for me next & I am no pg, still trying.
I have tried the test in the past & it has changed over the years but at the moment mine looks like it is right, & I am hanging on to the tought of haveing a girl, lol

Will have to try this, mind when I held it over my belly when pg with Jake it would swing around in huge cirles (like the size of pizza).. he is definatley a he LOL. -------------

Man that took forever! Mine said boy, girl, boy, boy, girl. No way am I having 5 kids!
ETA very weird - I'm a bit of a skeptic so I did it a second time and got exactly the same result. Weird I say. -------------

the website i found said to do it over your tummy when you're pregnant, and side to side is a girl, and round in a circle is a boy.
mine went side to side... find out in a month -------------

mine has been right so far - prediticted a girl first (even when not pregnant)- i am pregnant with a girl now (first baby), then it stops and goes sideways for ages with no stop, which i've read means twins! then it completely stops. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

When I was searching it on the net when pg with Jake half said one and half said the other. I got even more confused.
It went round and round in big circles on my tummy and we got a boy. I guess if it goes back and forth next time I will assume its a girl LOL. Might try it again now and see if its the same as it was the other day. -------------

I did it 3 times and it came out the same each time.
Boy - DS1 Boy - Ectopic ( I guess) Girl - MC (8wks) Girl - still trying Boy - will keep trying I did it with Harrison when I was pregas and it said he was a boy. I had it in my head that I really wanted a girl. My mum even did it a number of times over my belly and it would not budge from boy. Even if it doesn't work it helps us to stay +ve and gives hope. -------------

My mum showed me the ring test years ago & the results seems to change from time to time.
Currently it is saying 1. Boy - m/c 2. Girl - m/c 3. Boy 4. Boy & Girl The last one kept on changing from round & round to back & forth.
