I have had terrible diarrhoea (TMI) today plus feeling very seedy, tired etc. can this be early labour or just a bug? Has anyone elses labour started from an upset tummy?

Ohhh sounds like it could be the lead up to labour. My mum said she always got like that a day or so before she went into labour.

I got it when I first went into labour (as in had show, 1/2 hour later had waters break, then diarrhoea and vomitting then boom contractions!)

It's nature's way of cleaning out anything your body doesn't need for labour. And hey, if it's happening now, chances are you won't have a wee accident on the table (it's my worst fear lol)

Thanks ladies, still in latent labour, contractions every 10 - 15min or so. Trying everything possible to get things moving along or we have the induction talk tomorrow morning (we are totally not keen on being induced)
So fingers crossed it starts getting serious soon
