How many midwives are meant to be present? I am sure I read somewhere it had to be 2 but can't find an answer anywhere

| Your usual midwfie will have a backup midwife who she will call to come when u are actually near delivery. They have 2 , so that straight after the birth one can look after the Mum and one can look after the baby if there are any probs with either of you. |
