Hi there,
I have just had confirmation from my GP that I am 5 weeks pregnant! Great news for us! We are from the UK now living in NZ and wanted to know the next step in finding a good midwife in Auckland and labour hospital? Is it related to where you live or can you pick and choose? Is there just Auckland hospital or other options? Any recommendations much appreciated!

You can pick any midwife, however you will need to travel to her clinic and to the hospital/birthing centre she has an agreement with.
Should you wish to birth at a particular place (eg Birthcare) you would need to find a midwife with an agreement with their clinic.
